Part 1: Transcript coding
The following is a verbatim transcript of a part of an interview of Bryn Freedman (the interviewer) with Halla Tómasdóttir (the interviewee) on a TED show.
Assume the following Research Question and the sub-questions for this interview:
RQ: What are the characteristics of the successful leadership in contemporary organisations?
Sub-Q1: What are the main crises and problems of leadership in our era?
Sub-Q2: How can leaders overcome the leadership problems?
Your Task is to:
1) Code the interview transcript (Note: You must provide a list of your codes).
2) Develop a coding framework with themes and sub-themes (Note: You must provide a clear definition for each theme and sub-theme).
3) Illustrate your themes and sub-themes using direct quotations from the interview transcript.
Part 2: Critical Literature Review
During the Preparation Week for the Research Practice course, you were provided with the following five groups of articles:
- Entrepreneurship education and career intentions
- Electronic word of mouth
- Ethical branding
- Sharing economy
- Social media screening
Each category includes a set of five articles which you can access to on MyAberdeen page of the course. For the second part of your assessment.
Your Task is to:
1) Pick ONE of the above categories of articles (e.g. five articles provided on Ethical Branding OR five articles provided on Social Media Screening).
2) Write a Critical Literature Review of those five articles.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
