Getting Started:

The Individual Course Project requires a great deal of work. Please do not wait until we have covered all of the material to get started. Familiarize yourself with the online resources, both O*NET and the information at salary.com. The DeVry University online library, as well as the on-call librarians, can provide a great deal of research assistance. Use O* NET and/or salary.com to provide key critical information related to job descriptions. Further, check out the information provided online at the Department of Labor (dol dot gov) and the Bureau of Labor Statistics (bls dot gov).

Course Project:

The Course Project is divided into the following deliverables.

The Course Project is an individual paper, which is further subdivided as follows:

1. First section: Develop a Business Theme and Employee Positions.

2. Second section: Staffing and Pay Structures.

3. Final section: Benefits and the Compensation Budget.

Expectations:

The course project will have three (3) deliverables. Each week the paper should be submitted with 4-5 pages in length, double-spaced, not including title and reference pages. The seventh edition APA Style Manual is the style guide to be used for all written papers in this course.
