Determining the minimum angle which the rod can make


A homogeneous, uniform rod of length 5 feet and weight 10 lb rests in the corner of the room. The coefficient of static friction among the rod and floor is (Us = .5). There is no friction among the rod and wall though there is an elastic force among the rod and the wall. Determine the minimum angle which the rod can make with the floor and still be in equilibrium?
