A 10-kg block is attached to spring A and connected to spring B bycord and pulley. The block is held in the position shown(block is held above ground on support with spring under supportand on top of pulley, both with k=2 kN/m) with both springsunstretched when the support is removed and the block is releasedwith no initial velocity. Knowing that the constant of eachspring is 2 kN/m, determine (a) the velocity of the block after ithas moved down 50 mm, (b) the maximum velocity achieved by theblock.
