Determine the values for the same properties

Two well-insulated and rigid vessels are interconnected by a pipe and a valve. One 85 liter vessel contains oxygen at 100 kPa and 38 C while the other is a 28 liter vessel that contains nitrogen at 630 kPa and 150 C. The valve is opened and a flow starts. As soon as the pressures in the two vessels equalize, the valve is closed and each vessel is allowed to come to internal equilibrium.

Determine the final pressure, temperature, and specific volume in each vessel as well as the partial pressures for each component in each vessel. Also determine the change of entropy for this process.

If the valve is reopened and the vessels are allowed to come to mutual equilibrium, determine the values for the same properties asked above.
