(a) Design an appropriate value of VR. State the reason for your selection.

(b) Determine the value of RC1 such that, when Q1 is on, the current in RC1 is one-half that in D1.

(c) Determine the value of RC2 such that, when Q2 is on, the current in RC2 is one-half that in D2.

(d) Calculate the power dissipated in the circuit when v= vY = logic 0.
