Background. JBX Corporation established a work from home policy during the COVID 19 epidemic from May 2020 through May 2022 for more than 50 employees. JBX employs 150 employees. The remaining 100 work in their warehouses. JBX is a second-tier distribution warehouse for Amazon. Workload completion times suffered more than 30%. As a result, the corporations's revenue has dropped 20% for the last two years. In May of 2022, employees were required to return to the workplace full time by September 30, 2022. As of December 1, 2022, thirty (30) employees returned full time. The remaining 20 has identified several reasons for not returning to the workplace. Those reasons include childcare, lack of transportations and "I do not want too."
Given the current work environment where employees are in the "I Quit Mode" JBX wants to avoid losing employees, if possible. Negotiation is seen as a viable option.
