Assignment: Living Old Reflection Paper
Watch the Frontline documentary "Living Old" on PBS.
I recommend that you take notes as you watch the film.
After watching, write a 1 to 2 page essay in which you address the following:
a. Explain at least three of the main ideas presented in the documentary
• Include at least three specific facts mentioned in the film
b. Describe your reactions to the film. (What were your thoughts, feelings, what surprised you, what moved you, etc)
c. Describe how the film has influenced your view of growing older
d. Describe at least one thing that needs to change to address this looming crisis.
Essays will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
a. All five bullet points are addressed
b. Each bullet point is clearly, thoroughly, and accurately explained in the student's words
c. Essay demonstrates a clear understanding of the main ideas of the documentary
Format your assignment according to the give formatting requirements:
a. The answer must be double spaced, typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
b. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the course title, the student's name, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
c. Also include a reference page. The references and Citations should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
