• Describe your own expereince with technology growing up how may it compare with your own or today's children? What are the advantages and disadvantages of media technology use for children and families according to the text and chronosystem influences on mass media?
• Identify at least one theory in setion 9-4b of text and how you see it present in your experiences with screen media and its influence on children and families. Provide an example where applicable.
• There have now been many studies on "selective or continous partial attention" & screen media's impact on socialization. What do you think about that as it relates to what you read about the impact of mass media on development? What other area in the chapter interested or concerned you most and why?
