Describe - winning the lottery is only a dream for most

Problem:

Winning the lottery is only a dream for most - a one in a hundred million chance. However, what if you did win say $500 million dollars, might you consider giving $100 million to Penn State? The Pegula family sold their business for lottery level money and did just that. It gave us the Pegula ice hockey arena and NCAA Men's & Women's hockey programs. Nice. However, Nov. 2011 a massive risk to building the new arena occurs - the Sandusky scandal breaks, and Coach Joe Paterno loses his job. The Pegula's and Paterno's are friends. As project lead for the new ice arena what would you do first (problem seeker maybe)? Group of answer choices Run the managerial control process on all arena operations Ignore the situation and continue to develop arena operations Engage PSU administration to review and resolve the Sandusky case Start the fact finding & data gathering managerial process around all stakeholders Contact the Pegula family and arrange a time to discuss the current information
