When I hear the phrase mass media, I immediately think of social media and television. The evolution of social media in the last ten years has been nothing short of mesmerizing. Growing up, social media was mainly used for just pictures and that's it. Now, I use social media instead of google. Television has changed for the better in my eyes. The only downside is the increase in advertisement. Most streaming services are viewed as the new age television such as netflix, prime, hulu, etc. Both social media and television have both influenced me because I was lucky enough to see and be a part of the change. I use social media daily and it helps me gain clientele for my career. As for television, I don't watch cable anymore unless it involves sports. I have 3 younger brothers and they have no idea how the "old" social media was. There was once a time on Instagram where you couldn't direct messages, there were no reels, even the logo was different. Need Assignment Help?
