Homework: Budget Plan
For your budget plan, you will choose a sports organization and put together a budget and an action plan to carry out that plan for the organization that you choose. You can also closely analyze a budget already in place in an organization of your choosing. You must include an income and expense statement, which lists the various categories with the budget. If you do not find this in your research, you will need to create it. You must also analyze and discuss the information you uncover in your research regarding budgeting specifics.
Your paper will be a minimum of four typed & double spaced pages in length.
Your budget plan can come from one of three areas:
i. A professional sports organization
ii. A collegiate sports organization or
iii. A high school or club sports organization.
Your essay should include the following three main headings:
i. Learning Experience: describe the learning experience or situation and why you chose that particular sports organization.
ii. What I Learned: summarize what you learned and why the experience was helpful or thought-provoking.
iii. Application to Coaching or Athletic Administration: describe how you will use the learning or experience in your coaching or athletic administration.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
i) The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
ii) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
iii) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
