Research Paper Assignment: Health Politics and Policy
The purpose of this paper is to examine health care plans in other developed countries and use this examination to make potential recommendations the U.S. For this paper, choose two developed countries with universal health care systems. For each country,
• describe the history of the system, when it was developed
• explain how it is funded
• describe how it addresses the needs and values of the country's citizens
• evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the system
Compare and contrast the two systems.
What, if anything, do you think would be beneficial to adopt into the U.S.?
