The partnership essay will cover Chapter 17 - Job Order Costing and Chapter 18 - Process Cost Systems. The written essay wil be approximately 1,100 words or more per individual student.
One student should write about Job Order Costing, and one student should write about Process Cost Systems. Each section will have 3 parts:
1. Part I - Describe the cost system, and cost flows for each cost system.
2. Part II - Illustrate by use of a fictitous company how the system would be applied to the manufacturing process. Explain the materials used in manufacturing.
3. Part III - Design a "T" account illustration similiar to that on page 805 nad 839 of your text.
