Pre-Islamic Arabic events took place in Mecca, a cosmopolitan place, when several tribes settle in Mecca. The Arabic religion before him envolved also animism the most important of it in the Ka'ba, coexisting with monotheistic beliefes religions. Evidence indicate that they faced one economic crisis at Muhammad times. His doctrine were easy to understand and simple expressed , the simplicity of their requirements were an important factor to winning converts to Islam. Some people interpreted him as a reformer work men, who perceive the problems and respond to those problems. and see the prophet as an spiritual and political center of a new civilization.

Jihad is a command "to strive" doubt, disavowal, or negative internal or external to God. So in this effort of eradicating this they are willing to die and take the Sword of God to realize one of God's commandments to be heavenly recompensed. After the death of Muhammad and in the search of a new leader both aspects the pen and the sword play a role in the islam. but surely the sword has been an important and most noticed aspect in the Islam , even if this is not one of the basic ideas of the Islam.
