I. Now that you have identified environmental factors affecting the Division, you are ready to apply a SWOT analysis to one of your business operations by addressing the following:

Provide a brief explanation of the product and any other information that you believe is important in its evaluation.

ii. Strengths: describe one strength that you believe may exist and indicate if it determined through an internal or external analysis.

iii. Weaknesses: describe one weakness that you believe may exist and indicate if it determined through an internal or external analysis.

iv. Opportunities: describe one opportunity that you believe may exist and indicate if it determined through an internal or external analysis.

v. Threats: describe one threat that you believe may exist and indicate if it determined through an internal or external analysis

II. Based on completing the required strategic analysis in Part 1 and the SWOT analysis above, assume that you have completed both for the Division's remaining 60+ brands and are ready to move to the strategic management phase. Characterize the elements of an organization's strategic management process by addressing the following:

i. Vision and Mission: review Unilever's vision and mission (called "Our Strategy") in their Our Strategy section. Describe your impression of its effectiveness, including the supplemental content as you scroll down the page.

ii. Develop Objectives: develop one strategic objective for the Foods & Refreshments Division that describes how it will attempt to fulfill Unilever's mission.

iii. Create and Choose Strategies: discuss the difference between a corporate strategy and a business-level strategy. Since you are responsible for the Foods & Refreshments Division, indicate the type of strategy that you would need to develop. Based on the strategy that you are responsible for, develop one corporate or business-level strategy.

iv. Implement Strategies: differentiate between a strategic plan, a tactical plan, and an operational plan. Indicate the role of each plan in accomplishing the intended growth for the Foods & Refreshments Division.

v. Measure and Evaluate Performance: discuss two types of information that could be utilized to measure performance. As part of your content, include how you would utilize benchmarking as part of your evaluation of the Foods & Refreshments Division performance.
