Assignment task:
Describe one of the functions that art fulfills using one of the artworks in Chapter 2 as an example. There are many more examples than I provide here, choose an artwork that appeals to you.
Include the name of the artist, the name of the artwork, and include an image of the artwork about which you write. Be specific in your description; for example, what elements convey the function you're describing. No lists, please. A list of elements doesn't tell us you know what they are.
Tell us what is the point of an artist knowing and using visual elements in their artworks?
Also, what is the importance to the viewer in knowing the visual elements, purposes and functions?
