Machiavelli's basic philosophy is found in his simple words, "The end justifies the means." After reviewing the article "The Leadership Ethics of Machiavelli's Prince," respond to one of the following:
o Discuss how the use of Machiavellian tactics conflicts with your personal ethical beliefs.
o Discuss which Machiavellian tactics you could use to increase your professional effectiveness.
o Describe how Machiavellian tactics will affect perceptions of your communication style.
o Within business, does the end justifies the means? Why?
OR
o Discuss what information you found surprising in the Self-Assessment of Leadership Communication Capabilities you took and why.
Guidelines
