Potential Opportunities for Business Optimization Businesses must continually find ways of enhancing their efficiency, thus establishing a foundation for increased productivity and thus enhancing their performance. Ideally, business process optimization helps companies minimize costs while maximizing output and efficiency. The selected firm has a lot of areas that can benefit from business optimization. The two areas that will benefit from the optimization program include helping the organization better manage costs, thus establishing a foundation for improved revenue generation and enhancing operational quality performance. Regardless of its current business life cycle stage, any business must ensure that it manages its operating costs, which is a crucial activity in profit maximization (Xia et al., 2018). As a startup, Ro must ensure that it keeps its costs low to avoid becoming bankrupt or ceding its competitive advantage. The second business optimization gap entails helping RO improve its operational quality performance (Howe et al., n.d.). This will confront aspects such as the inability to meet performance targets, poor client throughput, and high rates of cancellation of procedures (Howe et al., n.d.). Preliminary Plans for Using Data Analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) Systems The identified business optimization areas are all data-based, meaning that analytic systems will be a crucial consideration. I intend to use data analytics and BI systems, for example, to analyze the profitability of Ro's profit lines and to find the basis for divesting noncore service lines. For the latter case, I will focus on understanding or identifying aspects such as satisfaction of performance targets, patient throughput, and the frequency of cancellation and client bookings.
