Abstract
This is a single paragraph, no indentation is required. The next page will be an abstract; "a brief, comprehensive summary of the contents of the article; it allows the readers to survey the contents of an article quickly" (Publication Manual, 2010).
The length of this abstract should be 35-50 words (2-3 sentences).
NOTE: the abstract must be on page 2 and the body of the paper will begin on page 3.
Unit - Individual Project
Introduction
Provide a brief introduction (2-3 sentences) for the purposes of previewing what will be covered. Remember to always indent the first line of a paragraph (use the tab key).
The margins, font size, spacing, and font type (italics or plain) are set in APA format. While you may change the names of the headings and subheadings, do not change the font or style of font.
Variable description
Describe 2-3 independent variables you could test using a regression analysis. Explain why you feel they are related to your dependent variable.
Expected results
Explain the results you would expect from running the regression analysis. How is each independent variable related to the dependent variable in a positive or negative fashion? Why? Rank your variables in terms of strength of relationship and justify your reasoning.
Value of Results
Explain who may be interested in the results of this test. How specifically could they be used?
Your future
Explain a specific organizational application of correlation and regression that you will use in your future career. This does not have to be the same as the study you have described above. Think carefully about your future career what might you need to predict using regression?
Conclusion
Add some concluding remarks-can be a sentence or two.
