For this assignment, you will demonstrate the ability to conduct an intake interview, including a mental status evaluation, Biopsychosocial history, mental health history, and psychological assessment for treatment planning. Your instructor will partner you with a peer to complete this assignment. You and your partner will take turns role-playing as the counselor. Your role play will take place over a mock "telemedicine" platform (i.e., feel free to use Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or any other platform for recording, as this is not a real clinical session). When you are the client, choose a famous person to embody (this can be a fictional character from a book, a play, a cartoon, or a real person. You are the embodiment of that person/character, not a person suffering from DID who is portraying that person/character). Download all of the items required for the roleplay and familiarize yourself with the questions asked on the forms. Research your character so that you can answer all the questions when they are asked of you. Come up with your diagnosis beforehand, but do not disclose it to your counselor. Be sure to present symptoms of your diagnosis during the interview, when asked, and for the MSE portion, display those symptoms on camera. (Ex.
