Assignment task:
Objective: To demonstrate that lateral eye movements are associated with thinking? Procedure: It has been theorized that when language-related tasks are being performed in the left hemisphere, the eyes look to the right; when nonlanguage, spatial abilities are being used in the right hemisphere, the eyes look to the left. Ask two people to participate, come up with a list of 5 questions to ask each person. Questions could be things such as their favorite color, phone number, what they did yesterday. Then have them perform a spatial task such as drawing something, completing a maze or putting together a puzzle. While they are performing each task observe their eye movement and take note of it. Are you finding the hypothesis above to be proven true or false. If you choose to you may have more then two subjects. Post for the class what your results showed.
