Assignment:
Your final exam for this class will be a short research-based paper. You will have the option of choosing 2 topics from the list of 5 topics below.
You will research and write a minimum of 500 words about each topic.
Combine both topic responses into a single paper. Use headings but DO NOT repeat the question.
Each topic should include a minimum of two references.
Use APA formatting for the paper and references. Don't forget to include in-text citations or the references won't count.
No paper will be graded that exceeds 10% similarity score (excluding references) .A zero will be entered for the final exam score.

Topic 1: Discuss how the project charter helps a project avoid "scope creep". Identify three key elements of the project charter that help a project stay within scope.
Topic 2: Define the role of the project sponsor and project stakeholders in a project. Identify two techniques a project manager can use to manage project stakeholder expectations.
Topic 3: Discuss how earned value management can help a project manager report on the status of the project. Define the data needed to assure that a project's status is properly reported.
Topic 4: Fully describe the critical path method, including how network diagramming can help a project stay on schedule.
Topic 5: Discuss two techniques for estimating costs on a project. Describe how costs are allocated to a project over time.
