After reading this how would you respond?

Almost every aspect of a person's life could involve an ethical dilemma. An ethical dilemma is a difficult choice between two possibilities that, ethically speaking, are neither entirely acceptable. The majority of the ethical and moral issues we confront in life have simple solutions, despite the fact that we encounter many of them.

I faced an ethical dilemma when I was a restaurant service employee because one of the employees was stealing money from the cashier's drawer. We worked the night shift. It would be unethical of me not to notify our boss, but she drew me aside and implored me not to. When I questioned her about why I shouldn't notify our supervisor, she attempted to defend her actions by claiming that our salary was too low and that she didn't have enough money to cover her expenses. When I questioned her about why she accepted the money, she attempted to defend herself by claiming that our salary was too low and that she didn't have enough money to cover her expenses. I told her that it wasn't the right way to go about getting money to pay her bills going to places such as going to churches or getting help with assistance with food etc. Stealing is stealing and is wrong and very unethical in so many ways. I told our boss to let her know and no matter what the situation was it was the right thing to do, and the coworker ended up being terminated for unethical behavior no matter what the circumstances there should have never been any stealing, and instead of stealing from a business she should have turned to help. This person was untrustworthy and not reliable.  I felt bad in the aspect that she was already struggling financially but ethically it was right of me to tell my boss what she had done.

In accordance with ethical virtue, our objective should be to avoid extremes of behavior and logically select the path of moderation. Even if we don't have the time to think rationally, our ethical decisions must be guided by our rational selves. Since morals and ethics are essential for the efficient operation of an office when it comes to keeping order, "morals and righteous at work can help create or ruin a firm." (Mitchell. 2019).
