Problem 1: Might the recognition of our mutual vulnerability make human life more reasonable and be a source of our well-being and the well-being of others?
Problem 2: Might the recognition of our mutual vulnerability lead us to consider what opportunities there are to be kind to ourselves and to others, what opportunities we missed to be kind to ourselves and to others, what opportunities we missed to generate self-esteem in others, and what opportunities others missed to generate it in us?
Problem 3: What effort and what courage does it take to be vulnerable and, in being vulnerable, to be kind?
