APA Documentation Example:
Several types of interventions and treatments are available when treating patients who suffer from psychological disorders. "Cognitive-behavioral therapists focus much more on present issues than on a patient's childhood or past, as in other forms of psychotherapy" (Spielman et al., 2020). It is often best to try therapeutic methods first before prescribing medication. Biomedical therapy is the involvement of psychotropic medications used to treat mental disorders (Spielman et al., 2020).
