In this assignment you will be doing comprehensive SWOT analysis of the product you have chosen. Here is the process for pulling together this assignment:

1. Review Marketing Management Textbook pg. 49-51 on SWOT analysis process

2. Choose and research a product/service you have interest in (through NYU library or google scholar or other sources). Use product website, case histories, published research, journal articles, business publications, annual report, established business portals. Please be sure you do not plagiarize (copy directly) anything from your research. On this paper your work will be submitted to Turnitin to insure that it is your original work.

3. Be sure this 5 page paper includes the following:

a. Overview of the brand, its product positioning, product attributes, target audience, NPS score (if accessible)

b. Define marketing conditions for the brand category. Review Marketing Intelligence information, research the microenvironment and include information you have found with attributions to the source material included in paper where you have used direct quotes or content and be sure to include all sources in References at end of paper. Provide information on the significance of the product category in the marketplace. Is it a growing, stagnant or falling category?

c. Determine customer interest, financial success of brand category (revenue, units sold, financial growth or decline.

d. Determine competition, trends in the industry impacting the brand, etc. and other pertinent information about the product to increase understanding about its success and viability in the market place.

Do a SWOT Analysis chart - and include all pertinent information on Brand Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats based upon your comprehensive research of the market environment and competition/rivals, Feel the confidence to defend your position.

Provide one page analysis of how your product is currently doing in the market place. Analyze its prospects for the future based on your SWOT assessment. Provide your recommendations for what steps need to be taken to take product to higher levels of success.

Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
