Custer Publishing, Inc. plans to enter into some contracts to further its business and book offerings. The first agreement is an author services contract. Custer’s chief editor, Jack Beehan, has already made an offer to a potential author, Melissa Willford. Melissa asked if she could have some time to think about the offer as she weighs her options.
