At the same time, you confirmed the budget with the Project Sponsor. A few days ago, you booked the restaurant where the fundraiser will take place and organized the entertainment for the event. Your To-do list contains the following items that you need to complete:
- Send deposit cheque to restaurant (this week)
- Send status report to Project Sponsor (this week)
- Purchase decorations for event (next month)
- Send out thank-you notes (two months from now)
- Overall, the fundraiser is going well, but you think you're a little behind schedule and probably 10% over budget at this point. One key problem you are experiencing is that the entertainers for the event (singers) cost you more than you had expected.
