Confidence Interval Discussion
During an election year, everyone is bombarded by the results of surveys or polls. Find a published poll or survey and interpret what it means. Your selection must have a margin of error included with the poll or survey. Remember to include the pertinent information in the poll/survey and cite your sources. (Typically, the confidence interval of the interval is not listed, but it is standard practice to use the margin of error for a 95% confidence interval when no other confidence level is given.)
Initial posts should thoroughly address all portions of the question and provide examples to support your statements. Reply posts should address whether or not you agree with the initial poster's assessment, and why. Replies to peers should be insightful; they should expand on a classmate's ideas, advance the dialogue, and promote a collaborative learning community.
