Conduct a Value Stream Analysis for the process of making dinner for some friends. Assume you would like to grill streaks (or a vegetarian substitute if you desire), and prepare at least two side dishes to complement the main entree (from scratch! For example, baked potatoes, beans, salad, etc...Consult an on-line website such as "allrecipes.com" if you need a recipe.) "Map" out the steps of the process, then describe at least three potential sources of "waste" in your process.
