My Comments-
This topic is interesting since I have a little experience with end-of-life care from being a former live-in-caregiver for a man with muscular dystrophy, and while not elderly, his condition was similar in many ways. One challenge with the elderly would be having lived in different era's which and elders are resistant to changing with the times, but I am adaptable. Counselors are first supposed to keep their clients wishes and privacy as priority sine there was an ethical oath, so you must respect others views on the subject, but must adhere to standards. You can offer the appropriate support to the family.
