Every person with diabetes, who and is referred to the Canadian Centre for Research on Diabetes will be treated with respect and dignity. Every patient will receive a full assessment of clinical, emotional and spiritual need. An agreed treatment plan will be developed to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved. The aim of every consultation is to assist people with diabetes to strive towards self management and understanding of their condition.
