The most useful strategy for this piece was Biographical and Psychological. Hemingway detail the Kreb life prior to World War I and after World War I. Comparing his social behavior prior and after war, Kreb became reserved to speaking with family and friends. He was mostly to himself due to family and friends curiosity to know about the events that happen while away at war. I took in consideration the biographical strategy due to the story was distinctive put out the awareness that Kreb refused to lie. He was not ok with facts of having to lie. Due to being a veteran they are not able to disclose information pertaining to war. He also speaks about the dating while in the army verse being a civilian. The psychological strategy takes place when his parents tells him that guys his age are marrying and doing great things. While the army, instilled there was not a need for man to have a girl. Being back home he mention the girls are more talkative than German girls. He seem to be suffering from post dramatic depression as a side effect from the war. He have moments where he does not know how and when to love and show compassion.
