i. Compare and contrast Kant's and Aristotle's ethical theories. What are the key similarities(if any) and differences(if any) between them? Discuss one or two cases from Sandel's "Justice" (or your own) that would be helpful for explaining/demonstrating these differences and similarities.
ii. How is Aristotle's ethics related to his metaphysics (his theory of the ultimate nature of reality)? What role do the virtues of character play in living a good life? How do we acquire them and how are they (virtues of character) related to phronesis (practical wisdom)? Present examples to clarify and demonstrate your points.
