Overview:
Throughout this course, you will explore public, population, environmental, and global health issues. The first step of your project is to identify a relevant topic by engaging with your community. This engagement will guide your evidence-based social media campaign and promote advocacy, public health education, and scholarly communication. Need Assignment Help?
Instructions:
Step 1: Engage Your Community
Use social media (preferred) or speak with at least five (5) individuals face-to-face.
Ask for suggestions on public health concerns and why those issues matter.
The goal is to identify a topic that would benefit from a social media campaign.
Step 2: Document the Responses
Social media: Submit a screenshot of your post and responses (you may redact names).
Face-to-Face: Submit a bullet-point summary for each person (e.g., Person 1, Person 2) with a brief statement of what they shared. Names are not required.
Step 3: Choose Your Topic
Based on the input you received, select a topic for your campaign.
Submit a brief narrative explaining your chosen topic and why it matters.
