Problem: Write a two-page (1000 words) commentary explaining how Perspectives on Hockey has contributed to your understanding of hockey. You might want to start by considering these questions: What did you learn about Canada's official winter sport? What information supported or challenged your opinions on hockey? What information surprised you? Do feel differently about hockey now than you did before taking the course? • Relate your commentary to TWO or THREE specific perspectives and/or themes explored in Perspectives on Hockey. As you know, the course examined hockey through four main perspectives: historical, cultural, political, and economic. Within each of these broad perspectives, several themes were explored. For example, within historical perspectives, we looked at several themes, including origins of hockey, amateur hockey, professional hockey, and hockey and the media.
