Historical Perspective Essay
Castilla Roy's theory of adaption model happened more than 40 years ago and is currently used in several areas of nursing particularly subjects of kindness and human discipline. Nursing theory offers the structural basis that is required for practice, and assist in advancing nursing comprehension providing an insight of the scientific method, and the nurse's position in the health care world (Roy, 2009). Castilla Roy's theory offered the nursing career with a structure to assist in furthering technique-based research with a practical reliability not yet recognized to the nursing field.
