Making a Diagnosis
For this discussion, identify a client and address the following questions based on your diagnostic assessment:
1. Describe your client's presenting problem and concerns in a maximum of one paragraph. What brought your client to counseling initially?
2. Describe your diagnostic impression of the client: What is your client's mental health diagnosis? Did your client meet the full criteria for the diagnosis? If not, what other diagnosis did you consider?
