Case Study: Conflict and Climate
Case studies as they relate to conflict and climate are the main topic of discussion this week. To prepare your essay, read the five assigned case studies and consider case study questions provided by the authors. Then frame your essay with these case studies in mind and synthesize overall themes that help highlight and make sense of this week’s learning objectives. Essays should draw from and cite weekly course materials including lectures, assigned materials, and relevant outside resources. Do not answer questions as bulleted short sentences. Frame your answer in a way that orients the reader to the case, unfolds in well supported paragraphs and makes smooth transitions between key concepts. Include proper citation to materials as needed. Conclude your analysis about the case studies assigned with thoughts about what you learned this week and share personal experiences that enhance text and supplemental materials. Submit your work to Drop Box 2.1 by the designated due date.
