Bullying and violence prevention program

Your client, Kathy Kudler, is overwhelmed with the quality of your work associated to your bullying and violence prevention program and with your cross-generational work with staff in her organization. She asks for a private meeting to thank you. During the meeting, though, she explains a requirement for personal help. She tells you that work demands are starting to mount, and she is dealing with what she calls work and family burnout. She has two children at home, aged 5 and 9, and illustrates she wishes she had more time to spend with them. She is a single mother presently; though, she is engaged to be married in 8 months. Her fiancé lives in a town 45 miles away. Her mother, who lives with her, was just diagnosed with lung cancer. Kathy asks for your help, and says she prefers professional coaching to help her deal with her work and family life challenges.

Write down a 1,000 to 1250 word paper in which you outline how an industrial or organizational (I/O) psychologist might intervene with the Kathy and give three or four I/O work and family intervention suggestions.

Describe the pros and cons of each intervention process.
