Assignment and Presentation requirements:
- In pairs
- Identify an issue from the above conversation (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nphZ8mjkc6M) and link it in Australian Accounting context
- Write a 1,500-word argumentative essay
- demonstrate your understanding of the issue
- outline the various arguments relating to the issue
- justify your position (by referring to financial accounting concepts and theories)
- Use5-10academic references (including books and journal articles, as well as online academic resources. Wikipedia is NOT an academic reference).
- Present your assignment in front of the class.
Assignment Steps:
1. With your partner, identify an issue from the above conversation and relate it in Australian Accounting context
2. Choose your topic (with your partner) based on the issue you found.
3. Research the topic making sure you note the bibliographic details of your sources.
4. Consult your lecturer to confirm your topic for the essay.
5. Write an essay plan.
