BASICS OF ENVIRONMENT
We live in two world one is natural world of animals, plants, air, water and soil that was present since the evolution of earth. The other world is of social institutions and artifacts that we create for ourselves using science, technology and political organization. The natural world consists two very complex, interdependent mutually reactive and interrelated entities, the organism and the environment. The organism can survive and interact with other only in appropriate environment. Both the worlds are essential for living.
Environment
The term 'environment' means surroundings, in which the organism lives, it is sum of all biotic (living) and biotic (non-living) components that surround and influence an organism. Some of a biotic component of the environments serves as resource (e.g. Soil, water etc.) with others acts as regulatory factor (e.g. Temperature, light etc.). Different components of the environment are interlinked and interdependent among each other. In context of human beings environment can be defined as.
"Environment is sum of all social, economical, biological, and physical of chemical factors which constitute the surroundings of man, who is booth creator and molders of his environment".

Environment is the representative of physical components of the earth where man is the important factor influencing his environment.
