At the end of the book, James pays for an entire pint glass of whiskey, seems at it and smells it and then has the bartender pour the whiskey down the drain. Will this turn into another craving? Will it lead him back to his addiction to alcohol? Or is it a continuation of resisting drinking alcohol and other step to staying sober?
