Analysing Company Performance Independent Study Project
The assessment is a 3,000 word individual report based on material covered throughout the duration of the module.
Question - Assuming the role of a forward looking, socially conscious investor you are required to draft a business report analysing the performance of your target company.
Need focus only Easy Jet (Airlines company in UK).
As a minimum your report should cover the following areas:
i) Short introduction and executive summary
ii) Comment on the overall financial stability of your company with focus on liquidity and resilience to risk
iii) Discuss the growth in importance of green accounting and sustainable business practices to today's investor
iv) Critically evaluate the engagement of your company with new reporting initiatives such as Integrated Reporting, Value Creation and Intellectual Capital Reporting (other initiatives relevant to your company).
v) Discuss the benefits and limitations of using a platform such as Bloomberg to support analysis on new reporting initiatives
vi) Conclude your report with advice for your company in terms of meeting the needs of customers and investor
Your report should utilise (not repeat) research and analysis presented as part of the assessed group work.
Research should be clearly incorporated within the report with appropriate referencing and a final bibliography.
