Ethics in Report WritingThe Goal of an investigation is to find the truth and an investigator's role is to report this. There are many factors that can influence a person when they are seeking answers to an unknown situation. Are there circumstances that justify an investigator creating a biased report in order to secure an arrest and conviction? Considerations may include media bias, popular opinion about how something happened, consequences of incarceration and the background of those involved.
