Financial accounting, as you know, is focused on the end user and as such, there are a lot of rules and regulations guiding how we produce and distribute reports (think GAAP). Managerial accounting, as you will begin to learn in this chapter, is about providing information and guidance for internal users. Given that, are ethics an important consideration in managerial accounting? Why or why not?
