Description:
Many of the issues that arise when leading a group involve a different level of cognitive thinking, which has student leaders making decisions, resolving conflicts, and reflecting. Students develop and apply learning and reasoning when they engage in event management. My example: I am the project lead on a grant project for the City of DeFuniak Springs and US Forestry Department. I have to cooridianate department directors, city council members, and other staff on the project deliverables on order to keep on task for the grant.
