In a group, investigate the types of patient care delivery models used in your area. Do not limit your investigation to hospitals. One healthcare organization should be assigned to a group. If possible, conduct interviews with nurses from a variety of delivery systems. Share the report of your findings with your classmates. How many different models of patient care delivery did you find? What is the most widely used method in healthcare facilities in your area? Does this vary from models identified most frequently in current nursing literature?
