The consumers also cite price, cleanliness, and convenience as being important. These factors particularly apply to the 18–24 age groups. From CBRE’s research it is clear that a retail environment’s success or failure depends on the shopping experience it offers. Consumers demand a better experience, while retailers are only concerned with footfalls and sales. Retail centers need to offer better quality dining, entertainment, and special events to enhance the shopping experience. What advice would you offer a retail center about food and entertainment?
